RAPID Web Sync Item Import Fields
Required Fields
These fields are needed to allow an item to be successfully imported into Magento. See the footnote below.
| SKU | Part Number Used in the Sage Accounting System |
| Name | Description used to display on the detail lines of the shopping cart |
| Description | Large descriptive text with HTML markup allowed. Typically shown in a tab on the product page. |
| Short_Description | A brief summary that displays prominently on the product page. |
| Status | Product status, must be 1 - Enabled to be show on website. 1 - Enabled (Recommended) 2 - Disabled |
| Weight | Used in shipment calculation. Magento recommends setting to 1 if weight is unknown. |
| Visability |
Where the product is shown on the website, if at all. |
| Price | Base product price |
Required Fields with Defaults
| Tax Class | Tax class for item. List will vary if more Tax Classes are added. 1 - "None" 2- "Taxable Goods" (default) 3 - "Shipping" |
| Qty | Product stock quantity. Will default to 0 if not set. |
| Is_In_Stock | Product stock status. If value is set we will use that value. If there is not a value set we will set to true if qty if positive value, or false if qty is blank or 0. |
Optional Fields
| Country_of_Manufacture | Two digit country code for the manufacturing country. |
| Cost | Product cost |
| MSRP | Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price |
| Meta_Title | Meta title to be used for for product (SEO). |
| Meta_Keywords | Meta keywords for product page. |
| Meta_Description | Meta description of product. Magento suggests under 155 chars. |
Categorization

Note: setting required on server to use “|” rather than “/” as category delimiter.
Attributes
There are over 40 standard attribute that you can use to import values for. See the note below. Your Magento developer can also add additional attributes that you can import.

Custom attributes must be added to Magento with the administration menus for maintaining catalogs.

Recommendations
Is_In_Stock can be hardcoded to 1 to always appear to be in stock.
